Q: I intend to frame my poster. Should I order the art paper or laminated version?

A: Art Paper is the better choice for framing. Lamination leaves an extra 1/4" or so edge all around the outside which means that they won't quite fit in standard 24x36 frames, plus the paper just looks better in a frame.

Q: What is a laminated poster?

A: It's an art paper poster sealed in a clear-poly film for protection against dirt and humidity. The surface is washable and the paper is protected from wrinkling and tearing.

Q: What type of paper are posters printed on?

A: Posters are printed with fade resistant inks on acid-free heavy coated gallery book stock which will not yellow with age.

Q: How can I pay for my order?

A: We accept the following online payment methods: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. If you don't wish to order online, print our order form, include your check or credit card information, and mail it to:

Q: Do you have a secure server?

A: Yes, we offer secure on-line shopping. Look for the little locked padlock symbol in the lower right corner of your screen while you're checking out.

Q: I don’t see any prices or mat and frame choices. Where are they?

A: Simply click on the small image to see a larger image, along with available sizes, mats and frames. Prices are shown for each possible configuration. We sometimes have other options available on a limited basis, so feel free to contact us if you have a specific need.

Q: How are your prints made?

A: All of our botanical and most of our fish prints are "giclee prints." Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto high quality archival paper. They will last without appreciable fading for as much as 80 years. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction.
A few of our Tomelleri fish prints are signed and numbered and are shipped directly by the artist. Our Tomelleri Calendar prints are actual pages from his annual trout calendars which we mat and optionally frame.

The Audubon bird prints are lithographed onto heavy weight clay-coated art paper by the publisher. Unlike the prints which we produce, we have no control over the sizes.
